Around my area in Ohio they make lists for what you need for each class and specify just what to get. If you get something different the teacher sends a note home telling you what to get instead and you wasted money. Some families can’t hardly afford to send kids to school.

Don’t start trying to take child labour jobs away from 3rd world countries that are largely kept poor because of 1st world countries.
