Huh. I don’t like the shopping, but I enjoy wrapping. I really shake my head at all those that only resort to gift bags.

I hate wrapping gifts because the tape seems to have made it their mission to thwart me in every possible way. CURSE YOU, SCOTCH TAPE!!

My mom had a real way with packages. She always said the wrapping should be as nice as whatever was inside. Another friend of mine had a sister who wrapped very special packages. I remember a special birthday gift she got that was embellished with living green vines and wild flowers. So pretty!!!

What is it with kids and sticky tape?

My kids used to love taping it where ever they thought something needed holding up and now my grandchildren do the same. After they leave I find pieces of tape in very odd places all over the house. It’s like that old graffiti: “I was here”….

What, are they recreating scenes from A Clockwork Orange?

Leave them some duct tape to play with. Then you’ll be entertained when they pull it off…
