So if the girl were Mother Nature, she’d let snow be a different color?

I am a short brown Asian man and I am getting tired of this oversensitive reactions to colour and race. But then, I am an Indian in India – I may not be the best person to react!

Why don’t you go make a yellow one, young lady?

Not really, Dean. Black is the mixture of all colors, white is the absence of all colors.

Next time, Dean, make it out of yellow snow.

You don’t need to defend yourself Dean. That girl would be offended by anything that you do.

and the other side of the joke…some people just aren’t happy unless they have something to complain about.

Of course, there is the black snow currently falling in Siberian towns and cities due to the current lack of pollution controls over coal pit mines (mountain topping posing same risks…)

If it was real life, the question on my mind would be “where did he get that good packing snow?” since the snow storms recently had that very fine non packing snow (which turns to mush and ice) and can’t be rolled up into a large ball….

Re. color-mixing:1) If you’re talking about paints, the colors are subtractive. The more you mix together, the less they reflect, and the darker things get. So all colors mixed together DO produce black. This is how the CMYK palette works.B) If you’re talking about light, the various colors are additive. If you mix all the colors together (like with three red-, blue-, and green-filitered flashlights), they produce white. As a planetarium person, I’m more familiar with the RGB palette that works that way.Apps like Photoshop let you go either direction, which is downright confusing the first time you encounter the OTHER palette!

There’s not a lot of choice when it comes to snow. You could go yellow, but let’s not.

So far as I am able to tell “woke” means “stupid”. Why would anyone want to be such a thing?

If you are thinking of paint, black is a mixture of all colors but if you are talking about light white is the mixture of all the colors of the rainbow

I choose not to read the comments on this one. 2021 is very different from 2019, but it’s not that kind of different.
