My young nephew once said that all Caldecott books start with people eating oatmeal, usually cold, then someone dies. That’s about right.

Dean’s book reminded me of “Mr. Blewitt’s Nose” by Alastair Taylor. It is a really, really smelly book. The kids just love it and want it read to them over and over…
