Yeah, not bad, but how about “Painful efforts”?

It stands for “If we want more funding, we have to call it something with more syllables than ‘gym’.”

P.E.= because Kinetic Activity sounds too adult.

Maybe someone noted that the origin of gymnasium is a place you work out nude. Nice to see “education” here meaning more than simply exercise.

“See you later; I’ve got a pretty exhausting class this afternoon.”

I guess that works.

1-2 grades ahead of Heart, but in my jr. high we had P.E. and Health on alternating days.

And just when I thought P.E. stood for PUNishing Ewe.

When I was in high school, I often had gym immediately after my art class.So, on days when we had to line up for “inspection”, my gym suit, socks and sneakers were immaculate, but I might be spattered with paint.
