    Not a good idea to jump over years. The loss of being with your friends can be worse than staying an extra year in school. Kids need to mature in their own time and that doesn’t really have a lot to do with academic achivement.

    Time for the Way-back Machine. This is why one-room schoolhouses were so good. You could learn as many grades as you could manage at the same time, then maybe skip a few grades along the way.

    If they want Charlotte to challenge herself, they need to find a better way to do it. Because, seriously, that’s up to Charlotte. Right now, she loves school, don’t end up making her hate it!
