Circus bears do not have fun. They are made to do stupid tricks by taking them when they’re young and “training” them with pain and intimidation. They live much of their lives in small inadequate cages. Their lives are heart-breaking.
Bears is no clowns. Stop tormenting poor bears!

Eh, they should have helmets. Not for safety, just because it’s Heathcliff.
The reality of circus animals’ life is sad. But as this is a cartoon, I think the hats on Heathcliff and the bear are wonderful.
