This is why, when I go to my usual hair cut place, when I do not get my usual beautician (day off, called in sick, whatever), I pull out my phone and show the new person the photos I took of my last haircut taken whilst still in the chair: front, back, and sides. Saves a lot of grief when my interpretation of “trim” is 1/2" and hers is 3". Yeah, that’s happened: trying to grow my hair for “Locks of Love” and that incident put me 6 months behind.
