I don’t believe worrying about it will change the future, but I do believe that you can make conscious decisions to do things that will affect the path to the future. In other words, I don’t believe that there’s nothing you can do to change the future. I don’t believe in an unchangeable fate.
I wonder if a que se ra se ra attitude is why most people have no real savings. I’ve always been a saver. Not a good investor, but a good saver. I continue to watch my spending like a hawk and have a fairly stable income and assets to support my lifestyle. But it’s amazing some can’t find even $400 for a rainy week.
It might, if you are sufficiently worried to do something about it. This summer’s protests haven’t achieved their goal, but they did cause some action towards a solution.
