Bless you, Mr. Bentley (and Mr. Rogers)! My soul needed this today. I am caring for my mother who has advanced dementia, and when she is so anxious and fights because she doesn’t recognize anything or anyone, it’s a struggle to feel loving. I will carry these words with me today and remember that’s it’s OK. She’s a new person, too, in a way, so we are both learning to live in this world that makes no sense.
