I was (and still am) THAT kid—that is, much like Uhuru—in my family. Now, I have to check out the podcast.

When my son was in in 6th grade, he would watch the BBC World News every evening, and even had a favorite newscaster. He learned a lot about world events and world politics, certainly more than he was learning in school.
