    My brother was working construction at the age of 18. He caught a saw blade in the cuff of his pants and cut his calf muscle in half. The guard of the saw was broken.The foreman of the project gathered everybody together the next day and gave them a lecture on safety. Later that same day, the foreman using the same saw, set it down on his shoe while it was still spinning and cut a toe off.
