    as a veteran, I’m wondering what the motive behind ‘claiming to be a veteran’ would be…..unless you’re talking about

    somebody who falsely claims they served time in a combat zone , which is a tiny percentage of folks who were in the

    military.

    I am a retired USAF Korean war and Viet Nam vet. I’m 82 years old. I met a WWII veteran at Walmart this morning. It was his 100th birthday today. Kind of made the morning for me.
