The funny thing is that if you actually followed the student protest movements the protest almost makes sense— during the cold war Poland was the communist bloc producer of chocolates and during the collapse of the Soviet Era Poland had national employment issues due to the collapse of chocolate sales. Increased consumption of Polish chocolate meant food on the table for Poland.
