I know, I know, comic, not real life, funny haha. But mom, this is the point where you teach your kid to respect your time and tell him that he has twenty minutes and then you will leave, with or without pumpkin. He already seems completely oblivious to other people’s feelings anyway, and that’s maybe cute when he is little, but it doesn’t age well.

Come on, Milo, make up your mind, already!

I love how this pumpkin story is a playful take on the artist’s dilemma, forever searching for just the right vehicle for one’s art. Frustrating to others, maybe! and to the artist too! but real.

(BTW … each pumpkin has the potential for a unique design, regardless of shape.) … :)

Take your time kid. The longer you take, the more I get to see. It’s funny to see how people react to how a comic mom raises her comic boy. Today I just want to enjoy the beautiful artwork.

I think a good artist should be able to turn anything into art. Searching for the perfect Pumpkin is a wast of time.
