Today explains why Ellie wants Al to go to Harvard, given how it’s been going the past few years it’s the best place to avoid anything or anyone sharp! XD
Look at that ceiling and high windows, are they in the basement? It’s a good place for a man-cave but not a nursery, why is Ellie keeping her son underground like a prisoner?
Should’ve mentioned this yesterday, but I ’think’ that may have been the first time an actual organization was associated with that oft-recurring “Knife/Fork/Spoon” motif, The “Knightville Diners” football team.
(… at least I assume they’re based in Knightville?) ✨❤️✨
Ellie’s gone nuts. Superwoman, my golden idol, tarnished by absurd paranoia. Worry about hard heavy tables, kitchen counters, and other immovable objects. Hell, even a flat hardwood floor will put many a mouse on baby’s cranium. The worst thing about the TV is baby will try to pound on the fragile screen some day so, hang it on a stud in the wall, pop open some beers, bring the chips, bring baby to learn and grow, sit down and quit interrupting the game that brought you and Hubbs together, ya goofball!
You think its bad now, wait until their kid wants to be on an Football team. Can you imagine how over the edge ellie will go? Hubbs would love for his son or daughter to play Football so he would support them.
Ellie needs therapy, and she needs it now. I realize she’s a first-time parent (so is Hubbs, for that matter!), but she is going to drive her new family over the deep end if someone does not intervene. And after everything they went through to be together, it cannot end like this…
Perhaps Roy still has the number for that Aswang doctor… Although, chances are he’ll be stocking up on the spirits before the first session is over.
Hubbs, I’m sure, is beginning to wonder what he ever saw in Ellie. As the late Robert Palmer sang in “Bad Case of Loving You (Doctor, Doctor)”, “A pretty face don’t make no pretty heart.”

Is LG gonna be paying Bea for this product placement? If not Christmas came early and she gave the gift of prime advertisement!

Ironically the baby seems a lot more quiet and chill than she does.

Oh I just realized, she’s finally using gendered pronouns for the baby. I wonder what the deal was before.

New parents are always riddled with anxieties and paranoias such as these. (Many of which turn out to be valid, and nearly as many invalid.)
This is (theoretically) what grandparents, aunts, uncles, and godparents are here for…
…to straighten those kinds of worries out.
(What can I say? It takes a village to raise a child.)
(And why Harvard? Why does no one consider I.I.T., T.I.S.S., or the Polytechnicas?)

Ellie’s being a bit too hard on Hubbs. Then again she does have a point regarding the sharp edges of the tv.

Meanwhile, the kid is kneeling at the edge of the easy chair.

At least the corners on Hubbs are obtuse.

If Ellie is so worried about Al’s safety, then why is she placing an infant in a chair by himself?

Miss Ellie is gone, who is this that showed up in her skin? (Which she doesn’t display anymore)

Baby may be plotting something. After all, he’s just learned about physics. Now to test theories!

First panel: the baby is confused as to why he has to go to Harvard, start studying already, miss his babyhood, and listen to his parents fight

Is Al looking at a fly in the first panel? Things might be getting into early Rugrats soon
