Never been to a pro sports stadium, let alone attend any pro sports game.

Not getting the references in Panel One (and it’s obvious there’s some kind of pop-culture references there), especially the cute girl with sunglasses in what appears to be a headdress and a bikini top… or the fat guy in the #11 jersey. Or the guy in the upper left-hand corner wearing a huge hood, for that matter… but knowing Bea, I’m gonna guess they’re supposed to refer to certain characters.

Looks like we were worried for nothing, from where Ellie’s seated the game will be long over by the time she rushes to the field.

Is that radiant girl in the 1st panel a samba dancer? If that’s what the halftime show is gonna be then fast forward!
