Crush you like the fabled Argo between the twin monsters Scylla and Charybdis? As I recall my 10th Grade English, Scylla and Charybdis figured into the destruction of Odysseus’s ship in the Odyssey, not the Argo in the myth of Jason. And the Argo survived the journey. It was the Symplegades, or Clashing Rocks, which could have crushed the Argo.
