What is this, a modern Marvel story? There seemed a time when heroes never revealed their secret identities to anyone but a trusted few. And that few might include other heroes who would never dare reveal the truth in public. Now at least largely in the movies, there seems this whole “hey, let’s reveal who the hero is” theme for Marvel. At least for the most part they do seem likely to show the repercussions of that as the villains may go after those close to the hero.
