    Looking it up, I think Tyr means moose. Learned that when Europeans first laid eyes on the North American elk they named it after their word for moose. They thought it more resembled the moose, or Elk, native to Europe. Which would appear to be the Eurasian Elk. So think more a moose with deer antlers.
