Fritz: Bixby, why don't you just take a sick day? Bixby: I can't. I used up all my sick days playing hooky from work. Fritz: Well, then, use a vacation day. Bixby: I can't. I used up all my vacation days looking for a job that gives me more sick days.
Sounds like something some of the folks around here would do. I’ve heard too many stories of folks taking too much time off from work in a short period rather than spreading it out over the entire year. And then going in to work when their not well enough to do so simply because they don’t have the sick days or vacation days left.
