Now I know who taught Gargamel how delicious Smurfs are.

I am with Hamhock on this one. Maybe I am a wimp but I can’t eat the baby ears of corn that come in vegetable mixes. They are too darn cute!

Sometime during the run of the Smurfs show, Gargamel stopped wanting to eat the Smurfs and started wanting to use them for his magic spells. I guess the TV executives finally woke up to the fact that the original was creepy. They didn’t change the name of Azriel the cat, presumably because they weren’t aware that he was named for the angel of death.

Smurfs can be delicious, smurfalicious, in fact. You need a proper sauce with them. I prefer Hollandaise.

The problem with smurfs is that they turn the milk blue.

The resulting blue tongue is sort of off-putting, though.
