in old celtic times, the veil between the living and the dead was thinnest at summer's end. all manner of devils, goblins and ghouls would enter our world and spread death across the lands!! to appease these spirits we held the festival of samhain and donned masks, cavorting door-to-door. townsfolk would reward us with treats, and if not, they would be the victims of frightening tricks! hamhock: Terrific story, lady, but what's that got to do with me getting my zagnut? woman: *sigh* no one has a sense of history any more...
