Where do I run? Where do I throw it? And then, one day, the game of ball was forever changed by the invention of the base.
I dunno – it seems pretty obvious to me. The fielder throws the ball at the batter and tries to bean him, and the batter either runs from the fielder to avoid the throw, or runs toward him to attack him with the bat. Couldn’t be simpler.
