Reminds me of the time (1968) that happened to me one night flying right seat in an Army Beaver. Pilot was in the back at the tube – passenger sitting left seat – looking concerned. I executed a descending on instruments, which are all on the left side of the panel. Fortunately we did not lose the radio and had just passed New Orleans NAS. As we broke out – he returned to the (L) seat for the landing. The very kindly Squids there put us up in some really nice quarters. The Navy know how to live.
