When I was a young man, visiting my grandmother in rural northeastern Oklahoma the paved roadway was littered with dead opossums. a visit of several years ago (DECADES LATER) had the same road littered with dead armadillos, who, in my youth, were relegated to south Texas, so it IS getting warmer and the armadillo’s range is EXPANDING NORTHWARD…
