Hi charlene! Im here to baby sit! you're two months early! I found a box of baby books in my basement. Sunny used yto love these stories! I bet "bundle" will enjoy them too! This was her favorite! "Mr Birdie the bluebird" "Maya opened her window and the bluebird hopped inside. It couldn't fly" "SO Maya nursed the tiny bird back to health, feeding it seeds" "Soon, the bird could fly again"! The bluebird said "thank you for helping me, little girl" Maya exclaimed wow! you can talk! Marcy, don't leave the baby hanging'! KICK KICK KICK
“Mr Birdie The Bluebird” is the title of a book I wrote and illustrated when I was ten years old. My mother got so excited about it, she mailed copies of it to Random House Publishers. They promptly returned it with a politely worded rejection notice. My mother passed away from cancer 9 years later. She was 49 years old. Before passing, she told me I would someday become successful as a cartoonist. Today’s “JumpStart” is in tribute to the amazing Dorothy Armstrong.
