Just seeing that look on Delray’s face…“Now I know where he gets it from!”

Called it yesterday!

I know, it was no mystery – but small victories!

There’s a few sports stars who have live on their endorsement money and invest all of their salaries.

That apple didn’t fall far from the tree.

Nothing wrong with being cautious with your money. Pinching a penny is a good thing.

“Forgot my wallet” that’s not fiscally responsible that is CHEAP! Picking up a check is what friends do. Expecting everyone else to pay for you makes you a burden.

Cured a few of the “Forgot my wallet” crowd, I just say “we’ll wait, go get it”.

“Financial Advisor”? More like his Inspiration.

There’s frugality, then there’s just being cheap or miserly. Wealthy people being unwilling to redistribute their money is the primary reason why trickle down economics didn’t work. Besides, if they want him to donate some of his VAST wealth to the hospital he can write it off as a charitable donation so he won’t have to pay his usual taxes, ultimately it won’t even BE any kind of extra expense.

I have paid for many people who told me they could not afford to eat out but I have never gone out again with a person who pulled a trick like this until they reimbursed me for the previous time. I can be generous, but I don’t like feeling like a dupe.

He’s pulling the I forgot my wallet and they haven’t even gotten anything yet.

One of my brothers always expected others to pay. We did.

The other always tries to pay. We often let him.

I always loved them both.

There are a few athletes like that. They have good money managers, and will be able to retire before they are 40 and go into a good career after sports.
