I live one county over from Lancaster, PA, the epicenter of the Amish, but I would have to drive at least 50 miles before seeing a horse and buggy. But when I occasionally do get out that way, if I find myself almost admiring them for sticking to their principles, I stop and remind myself . . . they’re nuts! At least they’re a lot more harmless than most religious fanatics.
