This reminded me of something that happened one Summer when I was a teenager. A few of us decided to go exploring the hills around Black Rock State Park. We were still up pretty high when it started getting dark, and we got lost. It was the 1960s — long before cell phones. Luckily, Donna Towne told her parents where we were going. Her father was a teacher in the grammar school. He’s the one who found us and got us out safely. Mr. Towne was blind!
