Yep, again, that’s why I hate huge public proposals. Propose in private first so you know the other person didn’t feel pressured to say Yes when they really didn’t want to. Then later on you can do a big splashy public proposal.
Ya knows, I beginnin’ to wonder if she should marry him! He’s so used to his pubilicity freeing him from spending money & such a tightwad when it comes to spending on himself, and now, this??? Seems really wrong.
I proposed on the JumboTron once. It went really well; her family were in attendance (at different parts of the stadium; she didn’t know they were there until after she’d accepted and they came to where we were seated). We never got married, though; I realized a couple months before the wedding our lives were going in different directions and it wouldn’t work. Still, it was a good and fun memory (to me, anyway).

Putting that kind of pressure on her? He deserves an epic fail.

If she says “No”,loudest “BOOOOOOO!!” in history to follow.
Couldn’t they have gone to a Baltimore Orioles game where nobody’s watching?

Yikes. I’d say no if he did that to me.

You’ll have to say yes now, but later on you can hand him his butt and his ring!

I would tell him “this is not the place to discxss a marriage proposal. We’ll talk about it in private”.

If she says “yes”, that stadium will erupt in cheers and clapping that will be heard for miles!

I get from having read the strips that he actually love her, but I’m actually hoping she says no at this point.
