I don’t get it.

Like the Church, the praying creature has a DogMa.

St. Francis would let him Stay, and assure him he’s a Good Boy.

“But … but … I’m a St. Bernard!”

He is praying for more prey ;)

Unlike the mission cat who keeps the mice away…

“I really don’t mind you praying, but I told you a dozen times DON’T DRINK OUT OF THE BAPTISMAL FONT!”

All good dogs to heaven; they don’t go to church.

“If I have to wear a dog collar, YOU have to wear a dog collar. Don’t come back without one.”

He’s just showing who the good boy is.

Father Gallant doesn’t give what is holy to the dogs.
