Yep, and climatologists use 30 year norms to aleviate the variability. While models can’t predict exact weather they are useful in pointing out trends and with that data we can get useful information. Anyone suggesting scrapping computer models doesn’t know what they are talking about or has never been trained in atmospheric science.
