If you’re going to distinguish “MEXICAN-Indian” you should go with the border when Saint Louis was called San Luis. Plains-state-corn-fed/ Kenyan-goatherd, college bred, Pacific island raised, isn’t a mix usually called cholo, but it definitely sounds like only-in-American.
