Quite. Supes was never unborn that I recall. He was always an infant when he got sent away from Krypton.

Those who raised Barry were from Kansas. The midlands never had to defend their homes against direct foreign attack. Hawaii may be more American. The crystal fortress doesn’t even make Kal El a resident. Maybe Canadian.
