Gervais comes and goes freely because 1. He is British and or policies are less restrictive; and 2. He has work in this country.
“Illegals” also have work in this country, and if you are thinking of Mexicans, the part of the country I live in WAS their country. BTW, I’ve known illegals from France, England, Japan, China, and Canada. Some of them didn’t work and contribute to the economy, they just overstayed their visas and lazed around.
