I remember this February during Black History Month, someone complained, “When are we going to get White History Month?” My response was: That would be great. One month out of the year, we highlight the positive contributions white people have made to this country. One month we highlight the positive contributions of black people. Then another month for Indigenous people, for Asian people, for Latinx people, one for all the islands peoples’s contributions. That leaves three months to talk about the horrors visiting upon all those people by corporations and their government stooges.
Just read about an Asian woman running for congress as GOP. Originally from China. She says that Democrats are trying to run peoples’ lives. I guess other women aren’t PEOPLE to her!!!
I don’t understand where this Hispanic character is so on the side of those who don’t want him around. The only way an oligarch – an American one, that is – would want him around is to mow his lawn!
I have never understood working people that feel sorry for rich people. Oh the horror, they may not be able to afford that 6 million dollar redecoration of their 300 million dollar yacht this year. Oh, the horror!

Sadly overdue for a sequel: A People’s History of the United States by Howard Zinn, published in 1980.

There’s an old saying: "If someone is found to be more right then his/her neighbors, that person constitutes a “majority of one”"

I hear my money talk as it leaves my wallet. It says, “Bye, bye”.
