I recently read about a manufacturer in Ohio that employs many Haitian immigrants. Several years ago employees were complaining of 6 and 7 day work weeks, 12 hour days. The only people who responded to help wanted ads were Haitians. The owner says they are hard workers and loyal, their fellow employees say they were skeptical at first, but now agree they are glad to have them. Today someone is posting photos of the owner around town, with “TRAITOR” written across his forehead.
