@CommentatorCheck out today’s link to the original art. As you requested, I’m trying out a scan of the panel as it was originally printed—-in color. It’s extra work for me (to do a new scan), but if folks like it, I’ll try to do this in the future.
I love the fan interaction. I’ll chip in when it’s appropriate and I can. As for showing the originals, I like the idea of posting them in color. And I’ll do so—-when possible.
Don’t be surprised if I post a fair number of black and white versions, though. I already have those scanned and when deadlines are pressing I’ll sometimes have to go with them.
@DogsniffReally? That’s certainly news to me. I have two avatars on Facebook. One for my personal Facebook account. And another for my Last Kiss account/page. Both are different from the avatar I use here. I suppose it’s a matter of how you have your avatars set up. If your avatars are the same for Facebook and GoComics then wouldn’t you be at risk at having your GoComics identity revealed all the the time? I’m not being snide here. I’m honestly puzzled.
Picking the winner by the number of “Likes” is an experiment. I love holding these sorts of contests. I hate picking a winner, though, because it’s hard to pick just one.So holding the contest on Facebook and going by “Likes” is an experiment. I’m hoping it works. But it’s somewhat of a flawed process because people who really want to win can get their friends to vote for them.
As far as getting YOUR friends to vote for you—-or just admire what you wrote—-it should be simple if they’re on Facebook.

The greedy gold digger chicks in this strip really spell it right out.

It’s a real good thing I’m not a tightwad. I have a date with her on Saturday.

What? You have something against MRE’s, with a six-pack laid out with a fine polycarbonate table setting at a fine tailgate venue. — I’m shocked

A true tightwad would ignore her, and be out buying up those discounted Cadbury eggs…
None of them are EVER bad….

Its not that they’re “tightwads”, it’s just that she charges $5 / hour and potential clients would rather pay a bit more for quality.
