By the way, I wrote this gag somewhere around 2002-5 when the whole idea of gay marriage seemed—-well, unlikely. In 2007, it appeared as part of my weekly comic series in The Seattle Times—-and got me into trouble.Today? To me, it almost seems quaint.
Just goes to show the courts can order but the public does not always follow.Clerks in Granbury Texas are refusing to do licenses for same sex stating personal or religious….I am fine with that…..go elsewhere where they will take it. What will happen is someone will want to force another and the whole thing will topple…….seen this before…..Civil Rights 1964…..Governors on University steps…..armed troops……I fear the same thing if too much forcing goes on. I recommend tolerance and go to another place. What I believe…..if it does not harm me or hurt me physically then why should I even let it bother me.I have worked with gays, served in the military with gays, the best soldiers I served with, just did not roll with girls, I had no problem, beside me in fire fight was all I cared about. My best friend in college was gay and the best buddy I ever had. Association caught me but a few young ladies later I was proven not guilty by association….he was still my friend. Matter of fact he was the first to meet me after a bout of severe depression where I nearly ended my own life……he was the first to greet me when I came back from that journey. Best hug I ever had.So homophobics get a life and move on. What does not affect you will not kill you.

Homosexual issues tend to be divisive. Especially this supreme court decision that doesn’t really represent the country.

Reminds me of the “Shortest recorded visit to a Proctologist”:
Patient says “Dr., where do put my trousers”Dr. answers “Right here next to mine”!
