that’s dark. I hope this one is not autobiographical, but my sympathy if it is.

Man this is a heavy strip today. I had a niece commit suicide. My sis has not really been the same since that awful day. Time does not heal all wounds…

and once again we are reminded that suicide does not end the pain, ..it just transfers to someone else.

Since you’re reprinting an 18-year-old strip, can we conclude that your brother’s ghost is still haunting you even now?

I hope you can forgive him for doing this both to himself and to all his kith and kin. That’s all anyone can do for him now. Be comforted.

I was haunted by my mother’s ghost until we moved house. She had never been to our new house and does not know how to get here.

In this season of (normally) joy and fellowship remember that it is also the season of darkness and depression. I think this is why we bring light and the smell and tastes of special seasonal foods. It just has the opposite effect on many of us. We need to be aware. Blessings to all.

I have a friend who has seen ghosts. But they don’t frighten her. She very calmly and matter-of-factly tells them to leave, and they do.

There is nothing like a loving and devoted sister, and this is nothing like a loving and devoted sister…
