I use a food processor for one of my Girls’ favorite foods. It’s a freeze dried, raw thing. Problem is you have to rehydrate it. My Gracie is impatient, even for a cat. So I started putting it in the spare, little food processor, chopper-upper, I have. WHIZ, BANG. Happy girls.
Reminded me of the delightful, animated movie, Gay Purr-ee (1962), a Rankin/Bass production featuring the voices of Judy Garland, Robert Goulet, and Red Buttons (and a few others you might recognize).
My cat is weirdly picky. Any dried food? He eats it in healthy moderation. Wet food? Just a lick and he’s done for the month. Human food? He still wonders why we eat that stuff.

“If you purée my food, it’ll be much less irritating to my throat when I cough it up ten minutes from now.”
