I just realized that this past Sunday (August 13, 2023) was the 89th anniversary of the 1st Li,‘l Abner comic strip. I’m currently reading “Al Capp: A Life to the Contrary” (2013) by Michael Schumacher & Dennis Kitchen. VERY fascinating read. There needs to be a movie made about Al Capps life…
