I’m as confused as Lio’s father. What’s the punchline?

Technically, you only need three points to define a plane. Today’s nitpicking is brought to you by WaitingMan Industries.

I get the geometry angle, but it could also be directions to fold the paper into a paper airplane.

Is it an exceptionally bad pun if so many people don’t get it?

Reverse the panels for a more effective set-up/punchline scenario.

I just stopped in to confess that I lol-ed at this. Then I read the other comments, & started to wonder if there’s even more of a joke in the kind of plane that he drew. All I get is that those angle depictions aren’t for the obtuse. Oh, and sure, you only need three points to define a plane, but a more complex drawing of a plane still flies.

For a more effective set-up/punchline scenario, reverse the order of the panels

Puns aren’t really Lio’s forte. He’s an action figure, by trade.

Enough with the three-points-define-a-plane. If he had drawn it that way it would look like Snakes on a Triangle.

Come, come now… He even labeled the vertices and created a triangle inside… The boy’s a genius! But, we already knew that… :D… Well, I know it better now, anyways, I thought he was just a misunderstood Goth child…

@Bruno Zeigerts I boycotted reading all things Pastis after he changed up the way he did his comic to match his attempted online cartoon. Sell-out-worse-than-Garfield, because at least Garfield didn’t change their strip in the paper!… Even though the movie and cartoon, were, um, … Sorry, cute but lacking something…

In reading that title, one would expect to see snakes possibly slithering on the floor inside the cabin of a plane… Lio referred to a geometric concept….all points on the diagram are on a flat plane ….as opposed possibly to a three- dimensional triangle.

Actually, Lio was being quite inIelligent in this situation for such a young kid. That said, any kid who can invent some of the sophisticated gadgets he has in the past, are really really intelligent.

If snake AC is 45.898989… microinches long, then what is the circumference of the other snake?
