This is a really nice tribute, Mark. Well done!

But somewhere along the line, it went from a mouse to gobbling up LucasFilm, ESPN, ABC, Marvel and much more.

I think mice are rather nice; their tails are long, their faces small; they haven’t any chins at all. Their ears are pink, their teeth are white, they run about the house at night; they nibble things they shouldn’t touch, and, no one seems to like them much, but I think mice are rather nice. That mouse would be public domain already, if the corporate types didn’t keep changing the copyright law every 10 years or so. The only other observation I’ll make is that Disney wasn’t exactly known for his stellar treatment of the child actors under his charge – look at the sad tale of the late Bobby Driscoll and others.

The only mice I like are Disney mice. Oh and Hanna Barabara ones too. Just keep them out of my home.
