He’s getting a life lesson here, Shop for medical supplies at the dollar store (according to the text on the packet) and you get what you pay for. Did you buy the brain there too?
I had a heart attack in June. Three stents were put in place in my heart. Swarms of nurses, doctors, dieticians, a couple of cardiologists, and unknown others while I was sedated. Stayed overnight, the first time in my life I’ve spent a night in a hospital.
The itemized expenses came to one hundred and ten thousand dollars.
Between Medicare and a cheap part B supplement, the part I had to pay was seven hundred dollars. Compared to car repair, even after insurance, quite a bargain, I’d say.
My one cheapo shop-at-the-dollar-store moment was… well, I was not thinking clearly, because I certainly recognized that a heart attack was in progress… but instead of calling 911 for an ambulance… I, uh, got out my little smart phone and using the installed app… summoned Uber.
Hey, ambulances are expensive. But, yes, they can start the exam and administer some care on the trip to the hospital.
But from the time I made the phone call to the time they told me the procedure was complete was ninety minutes. Uber lady got to my house fast and hospital was only fifteen minutes away.
But the look on the poor little driver’s face. She said, I hope you’re going somewhere fun today. I said I need to go to the emergency room at Wellstar because I’m having a heart attack. She did good and I gave her a generous tip.

That cheap suture material was a needleless expense.
Also, beware of parachutes for sale at those discount/“dollar” stores….

You might want to add subcutaneous stitches as well. Dr Pimple Popper has many YouTube videos to help you learn the technique.
