Is Lola around my age – late 60s – or MY mom’s age – 93?
There is no more talking – it is always yelling, I am often reminded of the scene in “Christmas Vacation” where the older aunt can’t hear them and her husband is yelling “The Blessing! They want you to say the blessing!” when I try to talk to her. I can actually hear the scene in the back of my head when I have to yell for her to hear.

If your sole goal in life is to see how long you can live, then you don’t have a life. Enjoy that beer and those wings.

If there were a fifth panel, Lola would look at her son and say: “You can go now”.
