Poor worms. Had to go fishing with an adult relative when I was little. I put one on a hook then and never again in all my years. The worm actually shook as I impaled it. Then my relative caught a fish and started scraping its scales off immediately. I never even pulled my line up out of the water. Thus ended my fishing career, age 9.
I was never good at catching fish. When we took our 3 boys out in a boat, I usually just baited their hook and took their fish off the hook for them. I was a whiz bang at cooking their fish and making fish gravy to sop up with my cathead biscuits though. We each had our jobs. The boy’s job was to enjoy fishing and they did that very well.
LOLA, why are you apologizing or telling us to look away. I am a card carrying member of P.E.T.A., People Eating Tasty Animals, and I love a mess of fried fish. Hook away, Lola, hook away.
My last fishing trip was when I had to clean the fish I caught…tho, my sister took me and the oldest son when he was about 8 fishing in Saco Bay in Maine, he caught 5 fish in one cast, and thought it was great, and wanted to do it again. Next time out, he didnt catch anything, decided it was boring, and has never fished since then (he is now 28).
I bated many a hook, especially my own after catching a fish and then releasing it back into the lake. It was nice to enjoy the peace and quiet of a beautiful day with my husbabd and let the fish live another day!!

If and when she catches something, they will definitely want to look away.

People Eating Tasty Animals members don’t care that much for worms.

Only if you keep worms as pets.
