It’s always ‘Mean Drunk Hour’ somewhere!

Ask most bartenders, and they’ll tell you that there’s more truth in this than fiction, although it’s often between 1-2 am.

Many years ago when I lived in Greenwich Village, like clockwork, all the drunks, wackos, weirdos, headcases, and bizarros came out of the woodwork about 2 am.

When’s maudlin drunk hour?

Where’s the ones for “sloppy drunk” and “mean sloppy drunk” and “sloppy remorseful drunk hour.”

So … 12 pm to 1 am are the mean drunk hours?

Adjustable to closing time at other places.

Yeah, those mean guys don’t tip much either. (For linguistic fans)

They sit at the bar and put bread in my jar and ask “buddy what you doin’ here”

No shooting allowed in the bar or parking lot.

I bartended for a part-time job, this true, except on Friday and Saturday night then it starts nearer to 10-2.
