    Base 12 makes far more sense. It’s divisable into much more convenient portions.

    With 10 fingers, we should count in base 11. For further thoughts, see here. (I wrote the paragraph about counting to 399 on two hands.)

    Shouldn’t it be base 5 with a hook? That would be 5? in base 5 hook notation.
